We invite you to the 30th anniversary edition of the Summer School in Social Sciences Methods at Università della Svizzera italiana. The 2026 programme features 3 online workshops and 30 intensive one-week courses tailored for doctoral students, researchers, and practitioners.
Curriculum Updates
This year includes several new courses focused on emerging methodologies:
- Crafting On-line Surveys and AI Survey Assistance
- Time Series Analysis for the Social Sciences
- Academic Writing in the Age of GenAI
- Design Your Academic Future
- Practical Machine Learning for Surveys, Panels, and Experiments
- Building Insights from Qualitative Data Through Multiple Grounded Theory Approaches
We are also pleased to welcome back the Design Thinking for Research and Visual Data and Visual Methods courses following a hiatus.
